The European Cyber Security Month is an annual initiative dedicated to raising awareness about cybersecurity issues across Europe. Throughout the month of October, governments, organizations, and individuals come together to promote best practices, share knowledge, and foster a safer digital environment.
In a world where our lives are increasingly intertwined with technology, European Cyber Security Month serves as a reminder that cybersecurity is a shared responsibility. By staying informed, practicing good cyber hygiene, and collaborating on innovative solutions, we can collectively strengthen our defenses and make the digital realm a safer place for all. So, let us embrace the European Cyber Security Month as an opportunity to reinforce our cyber resilience and ensure a more secure digital future.
Our contribution to the European Cyber Security Month is a cybersecurity game written by our summer intern Sadikshya Satyal that you can download free of charge from this web page. The game consists of quiz, hang-man, power-up and also memory quiz. The game has an main.exe file which can be executed as the game application after downloading and extracting the zip file.
The game was developed as a part of Centria SecuLab’s Summer Traineeship Program, where the job was to think about fun and educational ways to learn about cybersecurity. Combining gaming with the knowledge of cybersecurity is an effective way to gain better insight in cybersecurity.
