Anton Holmström and Simon Andersson shared their latest research findings from the ISSUES project at a recent event focused on risk management in Åre. The event was an opportunity for them to present their studies and insights to a gathering of experts in the field.
Anton presented an ongoing study on the relationship between information security, crisis management, and employees working with core business functions. This particular research is a case study investigating how a Swedish municipality’s social administration managed a cyber crisis. The study is a testament to the value of including employees from the core business, information security, and those responsible for contingency and crisis planning in order to develop organizational cyber resilience.
On the other hand, Simon presented his research on risk management tools and shared insights from an upcoming study on users’ expectations of such tools. The study focused on employees working in air traffic control and provided a feature wish list for risk management tools. The findings suggest that less is more regarding features that designers and developers should include in a risk management tool.
