Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly integrated into various industries, proving invaluable across diverse workplaces. While AI facilitates numerous advancements, its growing prominence has raised significant cybersecurity concerns. This is particularly alarming as cybercriminals exploit AI’s capabilities to launch sophisticated attacks.
Criminals use AI to bypass software restrictions, orchestrate phishing schemes, create deepfake images and videos, and clone human voices. Additionally, AI can circumvent security tools and even generate malicious code. These advancements mean that initiating a cyberattack no longer requires extensive expertise – anyone with basic access to AI tools could execute an effective assault.
Given the ease with which AI can be misused, organizations must ensure their employees are aware of both the constructive and destructive potential of these tools. Comprehensive cybersecurity training is essential, enabling employees to recognize threats posed by AI and implement protective measures.
