On 12th March 2025, the Finnish Tietoturva 2025 Seminar united cybersecurity professionals in Helsinki and online to address critical challenges in securing the digital world. Organized by Traficom and the National Emergency Supply Agency, the event featured a full day of discussions and keynotes.
In the morning, Emmanuel Naëgelen of ANSSI explored how technological changes impact national security, while Google’s John Hultquist reflected on a decade of cyber sabotage. Professor Alice Hutchings from Cambridge University highlighted the unintended effects of cybercrime prevention. A panel discussion focused on building strong cybersecurity cultures within organizations.
The afternoon included Finnish-language sessions on securing digital society, secure software development, and combating digital fraud. Experts from Traficom, Microsoft Finland, and law enforcement shared insights on current and emerging threats.
