We had the pleasure of attending Botnia Industrial Day (BID) at the City Hall of Vaasa on the 9th of September 2025.
This year’s program highlighted the green transition and renewable energy solutions, with a strong focus on the region’s progress toward carbon neutrality. Experts also addressed cybersecurity, analyzing global challenges and resilience strategies. Regional industrial investments were showcased, and participants explored opportunities in R&D funding, emphasizing the role of innovation in sustaining competitiveness.
The exhibition area brought together global and local companies, including Danfoss, Hitachi, VEO, and Wärtsilä. Both pre-arranged meetings and spontaneous encounters led to new partnerships and tangible business opportunities, reinforcing the event’s reputation as a catalyst for collaboration.
By uniting stakeholders from across sectors, the event strengthened Ostrobothnia’s reputation as a leader in industrial innovation, particularly in energy technology. The discussions and collaborations that took place underscored the region’s global competitiveness and its commitment to driving sustainable industry.
Botnia Industrial Day 2025 proved to be a significant milestone, offering practical insights, forging partnerships, and reaffirming the Ostrobothnia region’s vital role in shaping the future of industry.
